Speed & Agility

Athletes participating in all types of sport will attest to the fact that without a high level of speed and agility, the perfection of the skills they are attempting to perform would be more difficult. The ability to perform the movements of a sport with more quickness and precision is key to becoming an improved athlete. All Sports Training is offering classes to help athletes improve their Speed and Agility which will enable the athlete to analyze their performance level, and with the instructor, develop a specialized training program specific to their needs. The classes will focus on Stride Length and Stride Frequency, which are two main components in developing an improved level of speed and agility.

Stride Length
This instruction will involve a variety of basic and dynamic exercises designed to improve flexibility in muscles of the lower extremities. Stride length will be addressed in the beginning and end of each session.

Stride Frequency
During this portion of the class, the instructor will use plyometrics and agility drills to develop the athlete's neuromuscular system. This will be accomplished with the use of agility drills including shuffles, ladders, ropes, cones, etc.

During the training of stride length and stride frequency, athletes will improve their balance and coordination, making them more effective on the field of play.

Each class will be designed on an individual basis and is proven effective for all ages. Each class is progressive in nature with both drills and intensity, making sure that each athlete can reach their max improvement given the number of sessions.

Together these two components will also help the athlete improve their balance and coordination so they can be more effective and efficient in developing the skills of their chosen sport. Bottom line, speed and agility is FUN TO DO for ALL AGES!
