Stan Payne

Stan was drafted in 1989 in the 2nd round by Los Angeles. He chose to attend the University of Georgia and play for the Bulldogs where he pitched and won the National Championship Game of the 1990 College World Series. Stan was an All-American at UGA. He played 3 seasons professionally after being selected in the 12th round of the June 1992 draft by the Oakland A's.


Matt Stephens

Matt is an Oconee County High School graduate. He was an All-State Shortstop his Senior Year and played in the prestigious Georgia High School All-Star Game. Matt signed with Armstrong Atlantic State University. Armstrong State has averaged 42 wins during the season since 1983 and twenty-two players have signed professional contracts in the last six years. Matt Stephens played third base and started for the Armstrong Pirates as a freshman. Currently Matt is Head Coach for a 16 and under travel team and teaches hitting lessons at All Sports Training.



Josh Smith

Josh Smith played on the University of Georgia Baseball Team from 2002-2005. He was a 4 year letterman and a team captain. Josh was a member of the 2004 SEC Championship Team and the 2004 College World Series Team which fi nished 3rd. He was named one of the 2005 Top Fifty Prospects by Baseball America.

Justin Niefer

Justin Niefer played on the University of Georgia Baseball Team from 2004-2005. He was a team captain and a member of the 2004 SEC Championship Team and the 2004 College World Series Team which fi nished 3rd. Before his career as a Georgia Bulldog, Justin played baseball for the University of Cincinnati from 2000-2003. Justin was one of the players named on the All Conference USA Team. Along with playing for the prestigious Cape Cod Baseball League, he played professionally in the Frontier League (2005).
